Poodle Note Cards
A box of 8 notes printed on fine Ivory card stock, envelopes and matching seals featuring the Poodle. Known as the Caniche in France, from “chien canard” meaning “duck dog”, the Poodle originated in Germany as a waterfowl retriever. Poodle comes from the German “pudel” which, you may note, resembles puddle and has to do with splashing. These excellent water dogs became highly prized for circus work because of their intelligence and trainability. Their current flamboyant show clip is a cross between the working cut designed to keep key body parts warm in cold water and circus fashion.
